IP55 Cabinet Air Conditioner

IP55 provides protection against dust ingress sufficient to prevent harmful deposits, and protection against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes the unit suitable for outdoor applications where rain, road spray, and dust are present.

The unit operates down to -40°C ambient. The crankcase heater pre-warms the compressor oil, and the controller uses low-ambient control logic to prevent evaporator freeze-up. Hot-gas bypass maintains proper evaporator pressure in cold conditions.

The galvanized steel enclosure with 120µm polyester powder coating and stainless steel fasteners provides corrosion resistance for outdoor and coastal environments. The condenser coil features electro-deposition coating for additional protection.

Inspect air filters every 2-3 months in dusty environments. Clean condenser coil quarterly with low-pressure water or compressed air. Check enclosure seals annually. Refrigerant circuit inspection is recommended every 2 years.

Yes. The unit includes mounting flanges for wall or pole installation using M12 bolts. Optional pole-mount brackets are available. Maintain minimum clearance of 300mm on intake and 500mm on exhaust sides.

The unit operates continuously up to 55°C ambient. Above 50°C, the controller modulates compressor speed to maintain cooling performance within safe limits. Capacity is derated by approximately 5% per 5°C above 45°C.
